After a long winter, I've been catching up with friends and family and enjoying sunny days. During these visits, I noticed a pattern when describing my podcast. Here's how the conversation rolls out:
Friend: "Oh, you have a podcast?" or "Tell me more about your podcast"
Me: "Yes, I interview people about their career paths and the decisions they made along the way. It's to help people think about their own job changes."
Friend: wistful sigh "Oh, I need to check that out. I'm wondering now about [insert their own story about why their considering a change]"
The fact is that everyone is considering a job change or has looked at different career paths before. Did we choose the right path? Are we successful enough? Should we strive for more? These are some of the questions I've heard. To help you think through your own change, here is step 1:
